Feb 09, 2017 · The Department of Home Affairs did change legislation so that the working holiday could increase to 35, however it still lists every country to have a maximum age for the visa of 30 years old. This means that UK, USA, Italy, France, Germancy and every other country cannot apply for the working holiday visa (subclass 417 and 462).
It has a 45 year age limit (exemptions apply), competent English, RCB advice and must meet the AMSR. Visa applicants must have a suitable skills assessment (on the 494 occupations list) and at least 3 years’ skilled employment.
Previously, the age limit for obtaining a Working Holiday visa was 31 years old for Canadians an Irish. Since the 1st of July 2019, French citizens can also apply until they turn 35 years old. For all other countries, the age limit remains 31 for now. They might come to an agreement though, we will definitely keep you posted.
