Am Australian so perhaps my advice/ ideas isn't what you're looking for, but a lot of people on WHV that I've met have had farm or restaurant jobs, as well as theme park and tourist attraction jobs, you know casual work that doesn't particularly pay too well (and actually are the source of some scams) but great for people on this sort of visa who want to move around and have a flexible timetable.
