It depends where you're coming from for the cost of living, I find it pretty comparable to Kelowna. Groceries might be a bit higher but you won't really notice. The one thing I do notice is the internet is a lot higher, I pay $117 a month for 200GB. I feel like Whitehorse has more of a downtown than Yellowknife, it's pretty cute and not too busy.
