I'm trying to max my Sim family's skills and the cheat I've used since day 1 of playing isn't working. I am using stats.set_skill_Level Major_(skill) (level of skill) which seems to work for everyone but me. Can someone please help?

There was a two hour wait on the Live Chat (go figure) mileywink: Happy Holidays! I tried one last thing after going thru the troubleshooting list. Open Origin. Hover over Sims 4. Click on the 'i' More Info icon. Locate Holiday Celebration Pack to vetrify it shows as installed. Right click on that pack fpr options to Check for Updates or Repair

The surprise holiday New Skill Day popped up, and it said that sims learn skills faster and should learn a new skill or develop an old one. Both my sims gained a skill point in an existing skill, one in gardening and one in logic, but at the end I got a notification that New Skill Days was awful.

I also tried stats.set_skill_level_major gardening 4. I tried this with a few skills but none of the cheats are working. Both my sims are at level 3 in cooking and gardening.

I would like to add that this does not only include skill cheats. I have been using this cheat so much: sims.age_up This ages sims up or kills them by old age if the aging is turned on (if it is off, then it won't work).
