    Been living on Roosevelt Island for about 2 years. I like that it's got a quieter/lower energy than most of the city yet it's just one stop on the F train (or tram ride) away from Manhattan. Not a place to be if you're looking for night life. Great for sports (baseball/soccer fields, basketball courts).
