    Oct 09, 2008 · Powell River is pretty small and fairly secluded too. I live In the Comox Valley, which is a collection of towns accessible from a ferry in Powell River. Even though PR is on the mainland it's only accessible by ferry so any trip to Vancouver or the Island is gonna mean ferries.
