It IS alot more expensive than most other Uni cities/towns other than London, especially in terms of rent prices. I'd say the average was about 90 quid or so on rent per week, whereas in somewhere like Manchester its nearer £60. Having said that the whole city is really nice, and they aren't any no-go areas that i can think of.
