Jan 02, 2008 · My boss wants to give me a 5% "cost of living" increase this year as my raise. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a LOCAL cost of living chart? I KNOW that living in Marin County, CA the cost of living is much higher than, say, Kansas or Nebraska. And here, rents have gone way up and gas has skyrocketed from last year to this year, WAY more than 5%.
