It would cost a couple of thousand to renovate my flat and replace furniture to sub-let again, however I generally prefer living on my own. I also rent out my parking space for £100pcm. With a flatmate, and if I paid for school lump-sum, I would be able to save approx. £1.2k per month.

Anyway, I am thankful and have found myself, and despite Covid, still with a job and saving quite a bit of money. Through your readings and advice, there is no doubt that I will fire. I currently live on 17k usd/year in one of the most expensive cities in Canada (i'm frugal) - so 15k usd/year is a lot of for a country with a low cost of living index - i figure with only 12k usd/year in such a country would be an upgrade in standard of living in some aspects.
